Hello! My name is Svetlana Motika. I am a violin teacher, performer, and ensemble leader with 38 years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have combined teaching with concert performance, helping students discover the violin while continuing to develop my own musicianship on stage.

My work includes performing with the “Spicisor” folk music orchestra, leading the string section of a children’s Moldovan folk music orchestra, and directing a violin ensemble at a School of Arts.

Over the years, I have taught dozens of students. Many have gone on to complete higher music education and now work as orchestral musicians and music teachers in Moldova and abroad. My students regularly participate in school, national, and international online competitions, earning diplomas and prizes.

My goal is to help students develop a lasting love for music and the violin while building the skills to perform with precision, sensitivity, and confidence.

I believe that beautiful playing goes beyond correct notes. It requires a carefully developed sound, a deep understanding of the music, and the ability to convey its emotion to the listener.
